A message from the 2012 Campaign Chair

Dear Friends of the United Way,

At the United Way of Monongalia and Preston Counties we believe that every human being should be treated with respect and provided with community support during times of need. Our organization strives every day to meet the needs of our community responsibly, effectively, and in a manner that is in keeping with the highest standards of professionalism.

This year’s campaign theme is “Picture This”. Our theme invites you to picture a place where people come together to assure that every neighbor is treated with dignity and that our community reaches its full potential by answering a higher calling through service to others. Your contribution helps make this a reality. Every volunteer that donates their time and talent, makes a difference. Every contribution, is a step forward in achieving a better tomorrow.

Throughout our nation’s history, our character has defined us through our response to adversity. While we may be living in challenging times, we must continue to operate from a position of strength. I believe that our best days lie ahead and our response to today’s needs, will once again define our generation. Please Join me and challenge yourself and others to do more, share more and be more!
