OVER 240 RIDERS PARTICIPATE IN LIVE UNITED / RIDE UNITED

The 8th Annual United Way Poker Run took place Saturday, June 26th. Over 240 riders participated this year to LIVE UNITED / RIDE UNITED in the 125-mile road rally through Monongalia and Preston Counties. This was one of the largest turnouts in recent years, according to Shelly Martin, the volunteer event coordinator.

Proceeds from the Poker Run benefit 26 health and human service agencies in Monongalia and Preston Counties through the United Way 2011 Campaign.
