Those attending received an advance look at the 2011 Campaign that United Way opened with the Annual Day of Caring on August 4th. Darlene Dunn, of BB&T, was presented as the Chair of the 2011 Campaign with an established goal of $1,444,000. Frank Vitale, of Clear Mountain Bank, serves as the Vice-chair. Media Embracing the Community, a collaboration of local media, unveiled the 2011 campaign based on the theme, “LIVE UNITED.” Tony Caridi, of Pikewood Creative, presented the 2011 United Way Campaign Video.
The keynote speaker of the morning was James P. Clements, President of West Virginia University.
